Black Badge Courses, PAL & RPAL Courses, Shooting Fundamentals and One-on-one Private Lessons

The Waterloo County Revolver Association (WCRA) is committed to providing a wide range of educational opportunities to its membership as well as the public. We offer a variety of courses and training programs, including Black Badge Courses, PAL & RPAL Courses, Shooting Fundamentals and One-on-one Private Lessons. Each course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to safely and effectively handle firearms, officiate matches and shoot competitively.

Black Badge Course

Our Black Badge Course is a comprehensive program that covers everything from the basics of firearms safety to advanced shooting techniques. Participants will learn how to safely handle, shoot and maintain a variety of firearms, including handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Black Badge, which is recognized as a symbol of excellence in firearms safety and handling.

PAL Course

The Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) course covers a range of topics, including firearms safety, marksmanship, and shooting techniques. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply for a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL), which is a requirement for owning and acquiring firearms in Canada. The course is taught by certified instructors who are dedicated to providing safe and effective training to our students.

RPAL Course

Our RPAL Courses are tailored for those who wish to obtain a Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL) which is a requirement for owning and acquiring firearms in Canada. The course is designed to teach students the safe handling, use, and storage of firearms, as well as Canadian firearms laws and regulations. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply for an RPAL.

Shooting Fundamentals

The Shooting Fundamentals course offered by the Waterloo County Revolver Association (WCRA) is designed for those who are new to firearms or who are looking to improve their shooting skills. The course covers the basics of firearms safety, marksmanship, and shooting techniques, providing students with a solid foundation in these essential areas.

One-on-One Private Lessons

One-on-one Private Lessons are tailored for those who want individualized instruction and want to focus on specific skills or techniques. The course is designed to provide personalized instruction and feedback to help students improve their shooting skills.
